This is the other thing that’s been keeping me busy in my own time (besides Titan). The final date for entries is today, so I’ve been busy putting the finishing touches to my entry. The main focus for my entry is a rotating wheel containing the sessions in each track. This wheel is a custom panel that lays out it’s contents in a circle. My entry makes use of custom controls, user controls, styles, templates, XLINQ, data binding, and video streaming.
The above slideshow viewer is rotating through a few screen shots that show the application in use. I’ve also uploaded the application to the Silverlight Streaming Service, which is great way to test out and share Silverlight applications. I would embed it into this post, but the width won’t fit too well, so I suggest you visit this link instead: http://silverlight.services.live.com/invoke/61351/MIXUK/iframe.html. You will, of course, need to have the Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 runtime installed.
